IN REMEMBRANCE
Michelle R. Kendrick On September 30, 2016, the 10-year anniversary of her passing, we would like to share the life of Professor Michelle R. Kendrick, PhD. She was 42 when she lost her courageous 5-year battle with ovarian cancer on September 30, 2006. We are honored to be able to share her story with our SHOC family and the community. Michelle had a raucous and irreverent sense of humor, was described as lovely, passionate, funny, generous, fierce and very smart. She loved the outdoors, rode horses and motorcycles, and ran marathons. She was loving and devoted to her husband David, and to her children Griffin and Sofia, and stepdaughters Eliza and Emma. And her legacy lives on with the Michelle Kendrick Memorial Scholarship at WSU, Vancouver. Please click here to read more about Michelle’s life, work and legacy. |
